COVINGTON has a reputation for fair open advice and have consulted for major international salerooms including Sotheby's and Bonhams among many others.

Based in Scotland we are happy to travel throughout the country and the North of England. Further afield is possible subject to agreement.

We have successfully placed a multitude of objects with various salerooms and dealers, always looking to find the most effective sale strategy for every piece.

Single objects such as an enormously rare Chinese Imperial Dragon blue and white vase sold for £1.1 million. This had been discovered on a routine house visit in Scotland.

COVINGTON has also arranged the sale of major Scottish collections, including Stobhall, Hensol House and Marcus, three major Scottish houses which required Valuation, Sale management and Clearance. These collections which were sold largely as single owner sales at prominent auctioneers.

We also further advised that some select objects were placed in appropriate specialist sales to maximise potential revenue. We also negotiated the packing and haulage services and ensured clear up was completed effortlessly for our clients.

The company has access to a large range of specialist auctioneers and dealers, including for example the World leading valuer for Titanic and Steamship related memorabilia.
